Who are we?

 

Mission statement.

At Ria's, we strive to provide a reliably, high quality, friendly and competitively priced service. With our main focus being our excellent customer service.

 

When and where it started.

In early 2015 in a semi in Seacroft with one domestic customer (who remains a good friend to this day).  Adding our first commercial customer in late 2018.

Working with one domestic washing machine, a domestic tumble dryer, and a well-worn iron and ironing board (2nd hand).

 

Our customer bases.

Our current customer base consists of landlords, restaurants, hotels, hospitals etc and, of course, our great domestic customers.

 

Equipment

Around 2019 we began to invest in commercial equipment including professional ironing systems, washing machines and gas dryers housed in a separate and purpose-built building.

 

Advertising.

Most of our advertising has been through the 'On Your Doorstep' magazine. But we are, however, in the process of building our first website. You might be wondering why we haven't made a website before now. The answer is that we wanted to focus on the quality of service and as a result, resisted the temptation to expand too quickly and have the quality suffer. We calculated that if we get the quality right then our reputation would provide the momentum to expand.

 

Work ethic.

It hasn’t been plain sailing. We have learned from our mistakes along the way and are continuing to evolve. With a combination of hard work, persistence, and a strong belief the business is going from strength to strength.
